GutCheck is a free, sixty-second daily test of your calibration — how well the confidence you feel matches how often you are actually right. Every day everyone in the world gets the same ten true-or-false statements, drawn from geography, science, history, language, nature, technology and the arts. You answer each one and, just as importantly, slide a bar to say how sure you are, from a fifty-percent coin-flip up to dead certain. GutCheck then grades the gap between what you claimed and what turned out to be true, returning a Brier-based score from zero to one hundred and a one-word verdict: Overconfident Oracle, Humble Genius, Well-Calibrated, or Wildcard.
Here is the twist: a perfectly calibrated player who scores five out of ten beats an overconfident one who scores eight while claiming certainty, so the game rewards self-knowledge, not raw trivia recall.
